Short Description The workshop "Living Lab Heritage & Society" organized by the universities of Granada, Leipzig, and Minho, within the framework of Arqus European Identity & Heritage Living Lab. It will take place from June 23-27, 2025, in Extremo (Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal) and online. The workshop uses the village of Extremo as a living laboratory, drawing on archaeological work, memory and heritage analysis, and community-based research. It aims to engage students, teachers, and researchers with the local community, addressing local development issues through co-creation and collaborative knowledge building, focused on cultural heritage and the agrarian landscape. Key themes include: Architectural and Archaeological Rural Heritage, Archaeological heritage and society, LIVING LAB – Data to Understand, Share, and Value Heritage, and Communication and dissemination to society and communities. Activities will be in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
